About Dr. Melissa Lo

L.Ac., Ph.D.

Melissa Lo L.Ac., Ph.D. is an acupuncturist  at Origin Natural Care who specializes in detoxification with homeopathic nutrition counseling and meridian therapy. She has been in practice for over 10 years, and has had the opportunity to work on a wide range of cases due to her constant studies both in the United States and abroad in Taiwan. She has trained at the Taipei hospitals for both for acupuncture and herbals therapy. She has also been certified in Taiwan for herbal studies at one of the foremost herbal companies. She has used her Eastern medicine training to create a complimentary medicine with nutrition to bridge the gap for patients. Though she treats various cases, including pain management, emotional stress, digestive problems, she enjoys working with specialty cases. Her specialty includes infertility and gynecological disorders. She specifically helps patients going through ART (Assisted Reproductive Techniques) including IVF and IUI, and has had the opportunity to work along  side some of the best fertility clinics in CA. She also enjoys using her homeopathic nutrition counseling to work on young children, by helping them adjust their diet to improve and teach them healthy living.
