Acupuncture is a traditional therapy in which sterile needles are inserted into acupuncture points. Each point formulation is based off of traditional diagnosis performed by a licensed professional. Acupuncture can increase blood flow, stimulate Qi (energy), and enhance the biochemical balance within the body. This increased flow of Qi can stimulate the body’s self-healing abilities while promoting physical and emotional wellbeing. It is highly useful but not limited for stress relief, pain management, balancing hormones and immune dysfunction.



Cupping is a therapy in which the skin and superficial muscle layer to be lightly drawn into the cup. Cupping is much like the inverse of massage rather than applying pressure to muscles, it uses gentle pressure to pull them upward. For most patients, this is a particularly relaxing and relieving sensation.

Traditional herbal therapy is the use of roots, plants, flowers, and other natural ingredients that are found frequently in our food. These herbal remedies have been used for thousands of years for adjusting body energy and balancing the body for internal conditions.

Meridian Therapy

Moxibustion is a traditional Chinese medicine technique that involves the burning of mugwort, a herb used to facilitate healing. Moxibustion has been used throughout Asia for thousands of years. The purpose of moxibustion, as with most forms of traditional Chinese medicine, is to strengthen the blood, stimulate the flow of qi, and maintain general health. Moxa can be commonly used for therapies including joint pain and infertility.
